I feel like I am Sanford from Sanford and Sons every time I check this damn thread lol! What are we waiting to confirm now? Is this confused with when Gruden was in town back in October and took his sons fraternity to dinner? It sounded like exactly the same event... is he here in Knoxville again?

This is when Currie makes the calls to recruits and tells them to hold steadfast, as he has already proven. The game finishes late Saturday and you announce publicaly on Sunday. If a recruit is waivering then so be it. Gruden will surely steal some 5* from other schools so it’s a wash

I, I hear you and again I agree

I just can’t see many if any recruits visiting for Vandy knowing very few if any of these coaches will be here next year

The kids that REALLY committed or will commit to a school won’t care however I think it would freak most out

Remember they are only 17-18 years old

you might want to consider this.

Gruden is very sensitive about coaches and he is probably wanting to be respectful of the Vols coaches right now as they are doing their work during a very tough time. When the announcement is made it will rock UT and the college football world.

this explanation should make total sense.

Confirmed: I know a guy and he told me that we (me and him) were the only people left that did not have inside info in this Gruden matter.

This may have been mentioned already but I’m still catching up. IF we do have Gruden then one of the reasons for holding the announcement was given by himself on Mike&Mike. He is “sensitive to the coaches out there”. If this is done its a timing thing. Now it just depends on how much some people in here know, and I hope they’re proven right!

Just saw someone mentioned this a few posts up...
