I am very fond of Tee Martin, as we all probably are, but no way on Gods green that he is or ever would be a deal breaker or maker for any coach we bring in!

They were talking about sec football and the auburn game today and said that's where Tennessee would be within in two years with HFC Jon Gruden... then nothing else about ... started talking about the Auburn game

Totally out of context...would be WOULD BE... smh

Promise that's what was said ... I didn't hear sarcasm in it at all. Totally caught me off guard because they were talking about auburn ...

Not me... but honestly I can see him quickly being surprised by how much he loves it and will naturally and purposefully do it more than he thinks/wants atm.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Does he want to spend every waking moment recruiting? Perhaps not. But he loves talking football with anyone, especially coaches. I think he would enjoy it more than he knows.

I do have a very hard time believing Gruden would coach a bowl game, at the outside chance we made one.

They going to put in a new system or run an old system the coaches don't know?

i dont think we will have to worry about it cause we are not making a bowl game

Honestly Tee left a bad taste in my mouth when he bolted for Cali. But I know Gruden would keep Kiffin in check and I think Kiffin knows what kind of a **** job hes backed hisself into.

In the end, just get Gru...he will know whats best for his system.

IMO either would be great...I just wanted to put out I would be shocked if Tee took GS. That is just 100% my opinion knowing the school, area, and fanbase.

Georgia Shouthern message boards are already trashing him..fans are stupid and don't want him.

I'm very familiar with Georgia southern..I live an hr away and my son went there a semester before UT. I don't think Tee takes or would want that job.

I heard those exact things from a GSU booster last night. He wasn't against Tee Martin, he just couldn't figure out why GSU would go that route or why Tee would want to go there.

He is a great offensive mind and can recruit, but he has way too much baggage and has not proven he has matured. People in Tuscaloosa could not wait for him to be gone (and that was in the middle of the season last year).

Herbstriet nailed it on Kiffen, great coach but immature and the immature part scares AD's. Desmond nailed it too, would take a strong AD or coach to keep him in line. He's a genius as an offensive coach bit man, what a huge risk. Not saying g I wouldn't mind having him as our OC under Gruden

I think he just isnt sure about it yet as he learns the college rules. Thats ehy he wants a good compliance guy and will surround himself with experienced college recruiting guys.
