I can't find where he says what was posted recently. What I see is this:

"All I’m saying I understand why he said Gruden not coming. JG told someone who told JH that he wasn’t coming."

Swain is talking about Hyams saying Gruden isn't coming. In deference to Hyams, he follows that up with "JG told someone who told JH" so as to not imply that Hyams is making stuff up.

Now that most people seem to have cooled off, I feel like this is a post I have to make.

A lot of people here think I'm a troll, and honestly I understand. I've posted a lot of information this week and we've been burned here far too many times to count. When I made my initial post about the Tampa meeting I was scared. I was told information by a business associate who happened to be on the BOT, and wanted to share it. I was afraid it could be traced back to that person, or possibly ruin business relations with the company I work for. I eventually decided to go ahead and post the info, and thankfully all seemed to go well. Not only was it well received, but parts of it were corroborated by national media that day.

Following that post I heard absolutely nothing for 2 days. No new info came my way except for a text comfirming the deal was done. Fast forward to last night when I was suddenly being given info from multiple directions. Two people who I do not work particularly close with but trust gave me the majority of the info I posted today.

Honestly, I believe that everything I posted Tuesday and Wednesday was factual, and I'm mostly sure that what I posted today was as well. After seeing some of the reaction and thinking back on the conversations I had last night, I at least think there's a possibility I'm now being used. If my BOT contact or the AD realized that I leaked the information they gave me and that it received a lot of traction both here and elsewhere, It may have been decided to use me as a pawn. It's possible that I was purposely fed information last night. For what purpose I am not sure.

If this is the case then I am truly sorry. I genuinely hope that this is not what has happened, but if it is then I would never forgive myself for falling for that. I know that I would be crucified here, but just know that I would be twice as hard on myself. In light of that possibility you will not be receiving any more info from me and I won't post beyond today. There's no way I could trust anything I'm told at this point. It may be paranoia, but it's how I feel. If I've been found out then I also feel lile it would be best if I stop posting for personal and business interests.

If Gruden does end up being announced then I'll gladly come back and celebrate with you all. My hope is that everything I've been told is on the up and up.

Florida Rule of Professional Conduct 4-1.6(a) Consent Required to Reveal Information. A lawyer must not reveal information relating to representation of a client except as stated in subdivisions (b), (c), and (d), unless the client gives informed consent.

So yes, the client CAN authorize release of information. But in this case, if that's what happened, the lawyer has done it in such a way as to make his firm look like it breached confidentiality.

And yes, this rule is very broad. "Information relating to representation of a client" could definitely encompass what this guy posted.

I have to go back and remember some of the details of breach of confidentiality. I clearly know that if signed (or in some cases) implied consent from the client/clients involved is given, the attorney has the authority to act at their request (leak info). At this time, though, I think the leaks are planned/orchestrated by the clients. If, say, this attorney is representing Tee in negotiations and the negotiations have reached a successful conclusion, yet Tee’s name is being falsely given as the holdup for the naming the new coach along with other information already revealed (Pill’s). Then the attorney can be given the authority to at least corroborate some of the leaked info.

2. When this person said he wouldn't be back as long as things were good, did he say why?

He said he wouldn’t post or tell if a deal got done. Wasn’t his place.

I’m no insider but I do have connections in chattanooga. I was told yesterday by the large and hullander group connection that UT has also met with Patterson. So if something crazy was to happen and we wind up not getting gruden at the last minute (Howver, being told it’s done and still believe that) then we have other successful coaches we are going after and that we are willing to pay.

Your attitude is exactly what has been wrong with UT football and half the world. We suck now and no one wants us so why try? GTFO with that mindset. It’s like hearing someone say I can’t get a job so why try. Nothing irritates me more in life than attitudes as the one you are currently displaying.

My hopes are pretty low today, but I am holding out hope based on one thing: Atlanta’s absence.

We know there was a big Wednesday meeting, that he hinted to us about beforehand. He told us he wouldn’t tell us if the deal was done. And he hasn’t posted any news since posting his message about Wednesday being a big day.

It could mean that we got a deal done. Because I do believe that if Gruden had turned us down that ATL would tell us.

So I think we are most likely still awaiting a final decision from Gruden, but it’s also possible he’s already said yes. I don’t think he has said no.

I believe he has but I am not sure if it is any further than that. I do not believe anyone on this board has any clue what the contract says or if it has been signed. I do believe UT has tried but they have tried in the past. I am not convinced JG even wants to coach again
