This just in from my brother who drives for FedEx. The guy he was making a delivery to today said it's a done deal, Gruden is the man. The reason this guy knew was because he knows a guy that is real close to Johnny Majors and that's what Majors told him. I hope it's not true.

it’s not true. Majors doesn’t know. He was just on Basillio

I doubt anyone would see Lane on twitter if his team was losing. Let him have his fun. After all, he's not running with the pack any more. He's in the minor league now.

Come on. Since when does the FedEx driver stick around long enough for a conversation. By the time you open the door those mofos are gone.

Stated the same thing in thread 36. A lot of people do not realize that 20 - 30 individual contracts are being voided reviewed and executed. Takes time and this is not the time to do it. Distractions for other teams and the Vols would abound if now. Even the Announcements.

This is not a remove, replace and plug-in type event

It is More than one family, one team, or one organization. All will be affected!

Should be noted potential coaches coming here are still in their seasons and team's decisions.

Want the biggest splash do it the week of the SEC Championship. Were all eyes are focused at one time.

If it happens. it will be after the Vandy Game when we have a recruits on the ground in person.

Sounds like an endorsement for all the folks that say he will not win in the college ranks. Almost as if he knows it will be him....

I think I have said this before. Anything happening is not on the timing of the fan base or VFL’s. Any announcement will be when it most benefits the narratives that are under construction. We just simply don’t have full visibility on everything that is going on. It is most interesting to me that it has not be publicly killed by John or Gruden. They both full well know the pulse of the big orange faithful. I am still calm just watching the show.
