This just in from my brother who drives for FedEx. The guy he was making a delivery to today said it's a done deal, Gruden is the man. The reason this guy knew was because he knows a guy that is real close to Johnny Majors and that's what Majors told him. I hope it's not true.
The folks getting riled up about Lane Kiffin on Twitter need to get a sense of humor. It is refreshing in a world where coaches act like the are The President protecting nuclear codes.
This is entertainment. Period.
Come on. Since when does the FedEx driver stick around long enough for a conversation. By the time you open the door those mofos are gone. This just in from my brother who drives for FedEx. The guy he was making a delivery to today said it's a done deal, Gruden is the man. "I'm done commenting but again, my confidence is unshaken, and I totally expected and called the negative leaks we are now hearing. Currie also wants to give the seniors best chance to finish strong without insane amount of distractions. Same for the remaining Butch coaches. Theyre coaching for the next job, and Currie doesnt want to overshadow that and introduce a bomb with Gruden thatll totally overshadow the last two games. He cares about his image as an AD a lot. Gruden was never going to be announced this week and everyone expecting Gruden to step off a plane with Currie yesterday is just ignorant.
Ill talk to everybody in another week or two"
"Good coaches can coach anywhere and at any level. Gruden has the energy to coach at any level and he could handle being successful in recruiting. There would be no adjustment for him as smart as he is and as determined and dedicated as he is."
