Smokey, I know negotiations go back and forth, but if they hit a snag can we count on you go go down to Tampa and straighten them out? :dance2:

Patty and I have already made arrangements to take the necessary action if/when needed.:naughty:

That being said, I am still very confident and my gloominess has nothing to do with this Gruden deal.In fact, that and you all are the ones keeping me sane right now.

Because he bleeds orange, duh.

eta, when I say orange I mean pantone 151 not Cleveland carrot orange.

Haslam bleeds green, when I say green I mean $$$$. For him to pony up that much I would guess it would be for his billion dollar investment.

When posters continue to visit this thread and essentially call peoples info FOS is when there's a problem. What's the point? I don't mind constructive debate, but the above is just asinine.

Since none of us have a direct link to J. Gruden or the AD at the University of Tennessee then calling hearsay into question would be necessary for a constructive debate, no? If that is truly what you want......or would you prefer just a thread for Gruden worshipers to gather? I don't understand, well maybe I do unfortunately, why people get so upset over Gruden when we have no direct control over UT's coaching decision.

listening to the mid-day guys here in Nashville...they were throwing out Strong as their most likely candidate...then talked about Dykes, ULM guy, Briles, Dantonio...while I was listening not one mentioned Gruden...these guys over here don't have a clue what is going on...just random speculation...however, I will now enjoy listening to Clay Travis on 3HL again in the afternoon as his dump truck theory applies very much to Gruden and that's the type of move Clay keeps beating the drum about...not that Clay is my favorite...but it sure seems the guy has been right all along about Dooley even though many of us didn't want to hear it.

Boys and girls, rest in the solace that when our beloved team is getting the $hit pounded out of us Saturday, we are moving closer to the biggest splash since general Neyland.

Dissenting opinions are necessary for a true and constructive discussion but with that said, saying "No way in hell Gruden would ever come here!" like so many say is in my eyes more negative that thinking we are going to lose these next two games + at least one more.

I, nor anyone else here has said 100% no doubt Gruden is hired and is coming to UT. We share some of the info we hear and get from people we know, but no one has said it is a certainty. Now on the other hand, a statement of " No way in hell Gruden would ever come here" states certainty that he is not and never would come to UT. Which one seems more ridiculous to you?
