listening to the mid-day guys here in Nashville...they were throwing out Strong as their most likely candidate...then talked about Dykes, ULM guy, Briles, Dantonio...while I was listening not one mentioned Gruden...these guys over here don't have a clue what is going on...just random speculation...however, I will now enjoy listening to Clay Travis on 3HL again in the afternoon as his dump truck theory applies very much to Gruden and that's the type of move Clay keeps beating the drum about...not that Clay is my favorite...but it sure seems the guy has been right all along about Dooley even though many of us didn't want to hear it.
I was on here this morning, but you ignored me.:cray:
just messin' with ya'..Boro.
I'm doing okay today, had better days but it's really gloomy in Knoxville..The Queen and gloominess is not a good combination..I'm hang in there, plenty to be happy about if u know what I mean.
So you know how to read? People have stated what they know time and time again throughout this thread and the last one too. Now go hide in a corner somewhere.
So are you all hearing the Monday after South Carolina or later on in the season?
What have they "stated"? Bunch of speculation, this is what I've been told ext.
Heck I'm hoping to beat hell that this never comes to fruition just to piss off all the Grudenites hoping we lose the next two weeks.
Dissenting opinions are necessary for a true and constructive discussion but with that said, saying "No way in hell Gruden would ever come here!" like so many say is in my eyes more negative that thinking we are going to lose these next two games + at least one more.
I, nor anyone else here has said 100% no doubt Gruden is hired and is coming to UT. We share some of the info we hear and get from people we know, but no one has said it is a certainty. Now on the other hand, a statement of " No way in hell Gruden would ever come here" states certainty that he is not and never would come to UT. Which one seems more ridiculous to you?
I love this blustery fall weather....my favorite time of year. Memories of childhood, playing football, and hunting.
Unfortunately now I only have time to work.

All equal of course, unfortunately many take a defensive posture when confronted with a negative evaluation of what is presented as hearsay. If I disagree with the notion that Gruden is or is not coming to UT, why take it so personally? That is not a personal indictment of those who think he is or is not. Could it be that some are just prone to wanting to force their opinion? I don't have a clue if Gruden is coming here and I am not afraid to admit it.
I can only speak for myself, but I have not said one time my people say Gruden is a done deal. Not even close. I maintained all along that although all signs and opinions are Dooley is done, it was this week before anyone I know mentioned Gruden by name.
When it comes to getting personal, what else would you call it when people insult you because of your information or opinion? Do they honestly think we are going to filet all our relationships to prove some internet troll wrong? Then they insult, call you liar, idiots, and everything else. Thats personal, thats all it is is personal.
Bottom line is we can disagree without being disagreeable. To say that "Gruden is definitely not coming to UT" as many say is far more ridiculous than what any of the people sharing information and opinions have said.
Show me one person that has said 100% he is coming. Then when you cant, I will show you about 50 posts that say he 100% is not. Parody....not much lol.
