Seriously 'Boro, how can that not be a concern? I know Haslam supports UT but he has now spent a huge amount of money on the national stage. Why would he not want to protect that investment first, if he is sold on Gruden?

Should have been more specific. I was referring to Cleveland.

Because he bleeds orange, duh.

Because this is how big dogs gamble...not only does he get to fix the Browns, he also fixes UT, and Bammer...all are relevant to his interests...

Poker is for chumps to these guys...

OK...I believe, now. I've heard some things today that definitely are in line with what's been posted about Dooleys future and contact with a coach. One gentleman has known something for over a week and the other guy pulled up David Blackburn's contact card on his phone just to prove he's connected. Coach Gruden was never mentioned by name, both people (coworkers) agreed that they've heard that all signs point to Gruden.

Jay, bcarter, dto: what is the time frame regarding when all this started? I think I may be coming across the same info you've gotten.

Ok. Listen to me on this.....

Who is Gruden's mentor?

Mike Holmgren.

Do you honestly think that Gruden is going to step into a role where his biggest mentor was just let go?

No. Had Holmgren stayed, It might have been an afterthought.

Good point. I haven't considered the Holmgren connection.
