Smokey, just curious here, are you an arkansas fan? Since Arky signed Gruden back in may after all. We couldn't match Arky's offer because we are 400 million in debt in the AD so we are stuck with Dooley for the rest of our lives. On a serious note, I do find it hilarious that both Hogsville and Volnation have some "insider" information that points towards Gruden being the next HC of their prospective schools. Someone (both?) are going to have some major dissappointments. Also, our Gruden thread straight up powerbombs their Gruden thread. (listening to EA show and they keep mentioning wrestling :p )

Posts like these back up a prediction I made about a month ago. NegaVols will become sunshine pumpers and sunshine pumpers will become the negaVols.
The only difference is the new pumpers actually have more to base their positivity on than the old ones. At this point, I would say the odds are better on Gruden being hired than they are for Dooley becoming a successful head coach in the SEC.

The big difference is most of the posts have been realistic about Gruden here saying yes we are in contact and it looks good but things could go wrong. On Hogville they have had him since spring!

I am staying away from there. I read where they are saying that their main insider (duckman) is getting all of his info from a big Tennessee booster and that just pissed me off. I don't have very thick skin! :cray:

I just spoke to a friend on the football team. I asked him hypothetically if we got Gruden would he stay another year and he said undoubtedly yes. And no, he is not a receiver, and he plays offense. That's an immediate impact if you ask me.

There is not one soul on the team that would be anything but thrilled to be playing for Gruden. The immediate impact would be unmeasurable.

My question is, do they not post any of these numerous articles on the hog board? Have they not posted all the quotes from Gruden himself saying he loves UT and would be interested in the UT job, while not once mentioning Arky? Do they know how many times he comes here in the off season?

Do they know he was consulted and gave advice in the Bray beer bottle incident? Do they know he is already in contact with the UT Football program on a fairly regular basis?d

There is literally no tie to Arkansas, all they may do is cost UT a little more to get him....like in Storage Wars lol.
