Do they know he was consulted and gave advice in the Bray beer bottle incident? Do they know he is already in contact with the UT Football program on a fairly regular basis?d

There is literally no tie to Arkansas, all they may do is cost UT a little more to get him....like in Storage Wars lol.

I can hear Dave Hart now ....Yeeeepppppp!

That's what he better be saying!

Hey Jay, it's comments like Miss Cleo's that will make it that much sweeter..have you ordered the crow for them, yet?

I get that you're excited. I've been around here long enough to have seems dozens and dozens of "done deals" from "insiders" that ended up never being close to reality. Wait until things are done before you start chirping.

Better do what he says Smokey. He seems serious.

Forgive me if this has already been discussed and I missed it, but suppose Dooley is fired on the Monday after the USCe game. Then, who would be the interim coach for the last 4 (or 5) games this season? I know it is typically an associate head coach or coordinator, but I'm not sure Volnation would be happy with Chaney or Sunseri in charge, even for an interim period.

Fantasizing about Gruden is much more fun than speculating on how many more losses Dooley will rack up over the remainder of the 2012 season.

We are more likely to land Gruden for 2013 than we are to finish 9-3 under Dooley in 2012.

But I hear you on the insiders, done deals, etc...

We really don't have anyone on the staff worthy of being an interim coach unfortunately. There's been a lot of firings, where the coach finishes the season with the team.

I think Hinshaw or Pittman would be the interim. Coiner was the liason in Starkville, but I am not so sure he would be the choice. Conklin maybe a wild card choice.

I think Pittman would be worth keeping, he seems to have done a great job. Can't complain with McKeefrey either although Gruden probably has his own guy in mind. Hinshaw maybe for the recruiting?

Edit, didn't realize we were talking about interims coaches... I was thinking staff retention.

TBH, if Gruden is our next coach, I don't give a rats rear end who the interim is. Just sayin

I would rather that not be the case. As it stands Graham is viewed in a positive light by the fans. But the guy has only been a RB coach so far. Not sure I want him taking over the HC in an interim basis to see something tarnish what could be an up and coming career in coaching for the guy.
