TBH, that is what I would start doing right out of the gate. Its where we are weakest. They will have plenty of chances to run over top of us in the 2nd half after we're worn out.

Yeah, toss sweeps could be our downfall. If they wanted to pass, a screen should work as well. We aren't known to be a well tackling team,

Unfortunately an offensive game plan against our D is pretty simple and consists of about 3 plays. Run off tackle, 5 yd dump pass to either side, and when you need a 10 yarder throw it right down the seams. Vary those up and you will drive the length of the field. All the opposing D needs to do is play loose and wait on a blown pattern or QB miss with a little pressure.:banghead2:

Yep. Although I still think they wouldn't have to throw one pass to beat us.

Especially if it's to a tight end. :loco:

True, we have yet to demonstrate any ability to cover a secondary receiver. QB's who can check down are having a field day with our D.

This is also what I can't understand about this Sunseri defense. He was supposed to be a premier defensive secondary coach, correct? With the change to a 3-4 scheme you would expect some mistakes but a wholesale loss of fundamentals is beyond me.

Could have been since his son played that position. I honestly thought he was a LB expert.

HEY OLDVOL

Look at this one (not me) lol

After looking closer at the picture, The crappie is out in front of the man and hanging on a hook. Looked closely at the mans hands ,especially his left and its not in the fishes mouth. Took a while to figure it out, but no matter what, I would love to catch one that size.

Gruden is fun to think about, but has anyone even considered his ESPN contract? Came across this on another forum and I think it reaffirms Gruden ain't happening.

Jon Gruden signs five-year extension to stay on MNF - NFL - Sporting News

Gruden, who has had fewer than three full seasons on the job as a co-color commentator on Monday Night Football, has agreed to a exclusive five-year agreement that will keep him with ESPN through the 2016. According to the network press release, Gruden's extension, which goes into effect in September 2012, includes a provision that he will stay out of coaching through the new contract.

ESPN isn't going to give him up. Whatever buyout Dooley has you could probably at least double it for Gruden's contract. Move along folks.

That's a legitimate interview, don't ask me how I know:cool:

Regardless of whether or not Hart fires Dooley or whether Gruden comes to town or someone else, I hope someday the entire back story occurring now comes to light.

This is what I have said all along especially with all the things you hear from those that are close to the situation. I would love to see what % of the things my friends close to the situation tell me is true. If even 50% of it is the truth there's enough to write a book lol.

There is no way in hell Gruden tied himself down to not coaching the next 4 or 5 years with that contract. NO WAY!
