Pretty much says it all right here. If any of you "insiders" were to make a bet like this, you would lose all credibility.

It's ignorant to call anything pro or con a 100% lock in regards to a coach. I've never said Gruden was a lock. In fact, I don't recall anyone saying he was. OTOH, there have been many saying that it's 100% that he wasn't coming. Apply your credibility standards you mentioned to those two situations, and you have all you need to determine credibility in this thread.

Me neither, I just know some people that I trust that probably talk too much about what is going on. Hate being tagged as an "insider" but do seem to hear a lot of what is going on because of friendships that have evolved from business relationships. My best contact is no longer at UT and was part of Harts downsizing and he is the only one I would put my own credibility on the line if he said something.
