My head is spinning at the thought of Del Rio or Petrino. Yuck!

Both resemble 'you know who' too much. Del Rio's dream job? You guessed it. We know about 'ole Bobby.

If it's not Gruden, ride out the rest of the year and offer an employed college coach or soon to be fired NFL guy the gig.

I think we can snag Stoops or Patterson.

...and don't kill me, but if Richt is let go at the end of the year I wouldn't mind seeing him roam the sidelines if our other choices turn us down. He's way down the list though.

I would have a harder time than most fans to get excited about Del Rio, just because I've lived in Jacksonville for the past four years. The GM here absolutely must go. Enough with drafting so many small-college guys and hoping to come out looking like a genius. I would be ok with Del Rio as a backup plan. He's not nearly as shiny as Gruden, but the multiple years of NFL experience would be a plus, and his roster here was pretty weak his last few years.

I'm very skeptical about how successful Strong would be here. MSU chose Mullen over him. UF never made him their coach. UofL's schedule is very weak. But, Strong can recruit well, and his players enjoy playing for him. I would definitely take Strong over Petrino. Let's leave the sell-your-soul hires to programs like KY Basketball.

It would cost a truckload of cash to get Patterson, but I would be ok with the hire.

Obviously, I would be ok with Stoops, but I don't understand why people think we could get him.

Josh McDaniels, the OC and QB coach of the Pats..former Broncos coach..Saban/Belicheck student of the game...He coached under Saban at Mich.St. if I'm not mistaken.

When we were an elite program, we were picking off talent from Northern and Middle Georgia. He already has that locked down. If he picks a good staff he could do some immediate damage here.

He also does a good job in Florida and South Carolina.

No I dont think if we get beat 70-0 and it is all red from the middle of the 3rd quarter on he does it tonight. Short of him losing his **** and dropping his pants on the field or something or committing a crime against something BUT the game of football he is employed for 7 more days, maybe 8 lol.

I'm not carter but the way I understand it he has to lose the next two. That makes it mathematically impossible to reach the goal to save his job
