if everyone thinks that these boosters are so pissed off right now that they are getting the "wheels in motion" as many say here, then why didn't they do that when Kiffin left? Why didn't they hire an interim coach and let things fall into place?

Because we had a horrible AD that had a freak out and made too fast a hire when Kippy Brown should have been named interim so we had time to consider what we were doing.

You mean I should do ill to the one player who has given nothing but great exposure to the University of Tennessee, who could have chosen better programs out there but stuck with us? That's such a bandwagon thing to say.

Hmm...I think you misunderstand grasshopper.

You must be new round these here parts?

alright. time to set it straight.

its been terrible watching the vols this year. we have had missed opportunity after opportunity. However, Hart is not going to fire dooley unless he loses to Mizzou, UK, or Vandy. If he loses to one of those teams, he is gone. Most people on here say its a done deal and he is gone. that is so far from the truth. Dooley is back with a 7-5 season. No realistic booster who has made hundreds of millions looks at one game and makes a rash decision. Thats why they made so much money, because they make smart, focused, and thought out decisions. Is the writing on the wall for dooley? sure, 2013's schedule looks worse than ever, however boosters are not sure they can get the big hire they need right now. these lower tier boosters have contacted gruden, but they are not the haslams or thornton. is gruden interested? yea he has an ear out but is not waiting anxiously for a phone call. If dooley closes out with wins even after a loss to USCe, he is back next year.
The bold is true. The before and after is uninformed drivel.

Message board threads do, but losses don't huh? Makes sense to me.

If we are already losing, A.K.A having a "Hard time" as many would put it, why put salt on the wound? So this deal is done then huh? Guess we should tell the team to lose to Kentucky, Vandy, Mizzou, and Troy while we are it, doesn't matter then right?

Im sure some of them would have been more than fine with doing that and saving the buyout on a guy that didn't have the resume to coach at Vandy much less UT at the time. Im sure Hamilton also spread the recruiting class fear and some bought that as well.

I like how you've completely ignored my post calling you out because you know you weren't in the box and be exposed.

Sorry Bray, I'm avoiding you to respond to all the other "uniformed drivel". What exactly is your question and how can I be of service to you?

Freedom of speech, I think keeping Dooley this year will set us back even longer. I have a right to voice that opinion. Wins against UK, Vandy, and Mizzou shouldn't matter to UT.

You skirt so many answers with mere gibberish, answer one of these guys questions.

Absolutely Ainge takes it from here! Where does Knoxville Media get most of its jabber from, From all these site. if people think Rucker, Fortenberry, Hubbs, all don't have accounts to Volnation, they don't speak to them in person.

They make smart enough decisions to put a combined what....20-25 Billion in the bank? I would suggest that this decision is well in hand.

Agree, not talking about their business pursuits, but their role in UT athletic dept decisions recently. As I asked in my post, I dont even know if they played a role in those decisions but was saying that if they did, then they were not wise (buyout for Dooley, etc)

Actually first amendment rights do not apply to this forum and that is backed up by the moderators. Need to check with Freak on that one.
