Consider that they throw out a million like the rest of us throw out a 20. Dooley's buyout would simply be an obstacle to getting what they want. They are accustomed to getting what they want.
I gotcha. I dont think we are in disagreement here, if I understand correctly. I think they make the change,and I dont think the buyout is the factor, my point was that I dont get why they gave him a contract with a huge buyout when there was nothing to go on at that point. It seems UT would have the leverage there in contract negotiations, but I truly dont know, am not connected, am not a millionaire businessman, etc, etc. I am just a common dude on message board at 1 a.m. that is hoping his football team gets what it deserves, which is strong leadership
