Slice and Dice!!

I'm not sure if there are any Dice's around here. Guess you'll have to team up with this guy.

Thanks Kobe. First we've heard of this.

Apart of me thinks it is since ESPN holds his rights for over 20milx5years and would have to go back to scrambling to find a color guy. Dennis Miller, Tony Kornheiser, Rush Limbaugh etc. They struck gold with Jon, hard to imagine they'd let him walk cause Hart asks nicely...

However, if you have info I don't, I'll gladly eat crow.

Hey 24, did you catch the link I posted on the last page? One of the guys made it seem like it was no biggie, but if the deal included a provision that bars him from leaving, it seems like that would be relevant. Maybe this has already been answered 50 pages ago...

His ESPN buyout is covered. Most details were agreed upon in an earlier meeting in principle. He has not accepted because there is currently no job to accept....officially.

Everything is as it has been for over a week.

Wait, you guys are saying this is so far along that boosters have agreed to:

1) pay Dooley's 5mil
2) pay Jon's buyout (which has to be huge since ESPN got that provision)
3) pay Jon a salary of 5+mil

I'll admit I'm not in the "UT loop," but yikes that seems like a lot even for an SEC school.

Boro... Have you heard that there are 2 members of the staff that he is required to keep through 2014-2015 if he takes the job?

Guess that means a few actually were legit this time.

SBV commented on it too and he doesn't tend to blow smoke.

Didn't say that SBV was, but i haven't followed this thread from start to finish and the post that I saw from SBV last Sunday didn't say that we were going after Gruden. At least not the one that I saw.
