It all points to building the case...if he were gonna stay, if there were any faith in him, if there were no other coaches to talk to, it all would stay under the rug.

Would something like that, if proven true, be cause for not paying the buyout? I'm not sure how those contracts work. Just a question I wonder if anyone can answer?
