We have to remeber that NFL scouts look at other things other than stats.... They look at intangibles (which he has) and they judge him in comparison to other draft picks. Which this year's class is heavy on Dline and Oline as far as first round talent. Not saying Hunter isn't first round material, but just saying that Dooley and Mel Kiper look at it differently...

Interesting part is all assistant coaches except Chaney are required to put forth good faith efforts to acquire additional employment if terminated and any payment received at another job will offset dollar for dollar against what UT owes them.

Going to repost this. It is from a friend and former HS teammate of mine that was a 4 year SEC starter back in the late 80s early 90s. He worked directly under Saban and still is employed in the SEC. We have exchanged a LOT of emails over the last few years, but this I have his permission to post since it cannot come back at all on him. It is edited for profanity only.

Seriously, Dooley ain't the man bro. Worked with him at LSU...blue blood prick who ain't a leader...trust me, the players probably see it and truly don't respect him and certainly don't fear him; both of which are requisite for a successful football team (SEE: Nick Saban formula for success)

yeah bruh, unless your ass is playing in the Colonial League or Ivy League, you have to be straight crazy with these players. Man, I HATED WORKING FOR NICK!!!! But, always knew it wasn't personal, it was business. He wasn't trying to be all buddy buddy with anybody! He just wanted to WIN and make his money! He carried himself like he would kick a players ass in a minute and dude, it worked! The players hated his ass but they loved to win too! Nick grew up working class in West Virginia, hard scrabble bruh! Dooley...well..let's just say he would have been the president of SPO, winner of the Hugh O'Brian Award, Boy's State, student council president, had he lived in our home town...BC you know know what I'm talking about!

If players think that Saban can kick their ass. Gruden would have snipers watching over the practice field just to make sure he didn't murder someone.

Remember when Wes Brown returned that fumble? Kiffin might have bolted on UT, but I think his players liked to play for him, EB visited him over in SoCal awhile back.
