I think this is only my second post on these boards, but I do have some information that you can take or leave about Bray.

He lives in my apartment complex and as recent as last week he had CA tags on his car. Around lunch today, I drove by, and BAAAMMM! TN Tags OCT 13

Does this mean anything other than him getting pulled over and being asked to switch tags to avoid a fine, or does it mean he is coming to a realization that he might need to stay another year to improve his draftability.

Hanging up and listening...

No offense, but i think you're reading a little too much into that, his tags probably expired or something.

Meh, changed my avi back from the Gruden helmet shot, going back to my neutral ways. I was in with you Grudenites, and will support a change in leadership in the near term. But, the level of Dooley bashing has reached a peak in this thread. Yeah, I agree with the assessment of his coaching abilities, but I still see him as an honorable man, who got us back on course. He took on the challenge when few others would and it looks like 2.5 years of rebuilding is all we can stand. For that he deserves a small portion of our gratitude.

Funny thing is, you all knew that bad press would come out as part of the replacement process. Laying the ground work, you all said. But now you are believing it and using it to support your preconceived notions about the man and making the whole thing personal.

You are, of course, free to do that, but that doesn't make it right, nor, for the most part, accurate. So, I for one, will take myself out of this thread and go back to hanging out in the Pub. Have fun, bash away, we'll see you all when this thing is settled.

I don't know what winds up happening, but my stance is that if Dooley wins out (not likely) we have to keep him.

Since we're probably not winning out, none of that matters.

I think if Hart has agreed that Dooley is done, and informed him, then he's setting himself up for a disaster if Dooley wins out, or even beats USC.

I'm going to go with him getting tags for his car like everyone else has to? Although, does TN require out of state students to get TN tags?

Nothing to read into there imo

Only if that student is a resident of Tennessee or maintains that they are NOW a resident of Tennessee. He is saving up to help with Dooley's buyout by saving the scholarship fund out of state tuition lol. (joking)

I too am staying out of the bash Dooley (other than coaching ability/approach). I'm staying a Grudenite for the entertainment this thread is delivering. :hi:

Yep. This thread has been the high point of entertainment at VN. At least for this season.

This is a wierd point of view to take, I used to despise when posters ragged on Dooley, because I thought it negatively affected the team. Now I am one of the ones being called a "nega-vol" because I think firing Dooley wil actually help the team.

It's a 'process'.....
