morning grudes...HAPPY TURKEY DAY!....anyone talk to Boro about the Erin Andrews situation...I saw where she has a tweet saying she did not report anything on "The Zone."

I am the exact same way, I never understand how people say they need 8 hours of sleep a night.

Technically she didn't, but she dropped big hints. Said the guy told her to learn the words to Rocky Top. That's her bet with Travis. It's happening.

Gman, I know what Boro said last night...do you think that this will be announced within the next 48 hours, like Boro said it might, due to certain media members with loose lips not being able to keep a lid on it?

Good question, anything is possible but it is really hard to say IMO. I think UT can keep it quiet or deflect and deny until Jon and ESPN are ready to make it public. I also am not up to par on any rules between a coach getting terminated and a replacement coach is announced.

Mornin' Grudenation.....and a Happy Thanksgiving to all. I believe it was Boro and OV who told us we'd have a Happy Thanksgiving, and that it is. Hard to hold back and wait.

Good morning Grudenites. I read several pages from last night and thought I could provide some clarification of HR guidelines at a state run institution. My wife is second in charge in HR at a state run institution.

She says the athletic department plays by a different set of rules typically. One that would allow a direct hire without normal interviewing and even posting procedures. (I.E Dooley when Kiffin bolted)

In short, UT can hire who they want, how they want, when they want, in this specific case. Hope this helps.

Totally agree with you, G. I'd bet UT just deflects all the press until they're ready...silence is deafening!

Until she or anyone else gets an official green light....it's speculation to the outside world.


BUT NOT TO US!!! It's all old news here!!! Lol

With the press getting a hold of this info, do any of you think Hart has to release the hiring sooner than he wants? And any guesses as to when? By this weekend maybe?
