Morning OV,Gman, and all other Gruden faithful...

good to hear OV...

oh and thanks a lot GMAN,I've been intrigued by your
avi and doing a little research and now trying to find
me some Pappy for Gruden celebration day...and XMAS...and New Years...and my birthday...:hi: :good!:

Morning Triad

The 20 year old will run you around $115 but it is well worth it....enjoy!

Here is my opinion.....

You have a school (UT) that is trying to keep their coaching search and potential candidates under some serious wraps. If you were another SEC school, would you not want to blow up the other school's negotiations as quick as possible. I think people are forgetting just how high the stakes are in the SEC. This is not the ACC or the PAC where coaches socialize and get along. This is cutthroat football, cutthroat recruiting and serious big-boy football.

If anyone thinks that another SEC school wouldn't jump at the opportunity to sabotage our coaching search, they haven't been watching the SEC in the last 10 year. Huge amounts of money are on the line here and the lines of competitiveness will be shifted with all of these hires.

The current meltdown over an offer is idiotic! People just need to chill the f*** out!!

Sure Arkansas could offer regardless but schools generally go to great lengths to only make formal offers to candidates they have a chance to get. Their officials may be swaying from that path but as I said IMO gruden is listening if they formally offered yesterday.

Let......it.....go......just.....stop....

If the agent was being a professional He would say that gruden isn't interested in entertaining a formal offer. That's how the profession works

Are you an agent? Last time I checked it was their job to get the highest amount possible for their client AND themselves in the process.

I would be very naive to think that an agent wouldn't try an deal til the very last minute.

Come on Bruin - you're smarter than this.

Gruden would take Kiffin's spot as the most hated man by Vols fans, if he snubbed us for Arky. there is no way i can fathom him doing that.

Not really. It wouldn't be his fault, and if we failed to react to an Arky bid, then it's our fault, or at least the prior administration who screwed our budget up to the point that we are having to rely solely on boosters and straightening the idiotic athletic/academic side of things.

How do you know that he didn't do that?

The rumor is that they submitted an offer, not that there was a reply.

And he is neither legally or ethically bound to tell Arkansas anything.

And there is no reliable info that an actual offer was extended by Arky to Gruden.

The offer tells me he isn't a done deal here. It has nothing to do with his willingness to accept

Respectfully disagree...I may have just sold my car but it doesnt mean some joker cant walk up to me and try to offer me a better deal while Im signing the title over...

Just went nuts for a while after the other guy was using my ava...but I'm gona have Jay Gruden it up ..hopefully today and stay with him

Yeah, I had one a while back with Ernest T. Bass and some dude copied it. I know how you feel.

No that's what I'm talking about!! Dropping an Arky....much better than dropping the kids off at the pool.

Morning y'all, again! I was up earlier and fell back asleep. Thank goodness

Morning Jake.

damn pig wrestling in here again. Better watch out.

I would love to see this thread go back to talking about Gruden coming to Tennessee instead of Gruden going to Arkansas. Like several have said before, there is 0 chance he will go to Arky. Listen to the faithfuls and know that he is coming here. Gruden 2013!!

Bruin... you are missing the point.... Ary HAS NOT said they made a formal offer.... this news came from a reporter who has missed several times before.

If Arky has made a formal offer, sure they want Gruden, so do we, are they going after him...yes maybe, but their will be more.

I did not want a wife no one else wanted and I DO NOT WANT A COACH NO ONE ELSE WANTS

I could formally offer Gruden. Doesn't mean anything.

We are being effed with by the Hogs true believers. Our faith is being tested but we are a resolute bunch. The proof is that this thread will reach 300 pages by noon.

No offense my Vol brother, but the mindset of seeing how many pages/threads we can reach is not a good one. I want to get on here in my limited time and see useful information, not a bunch of fluff. Someone a couple days ago was making posts with nothing but a number in the body of the message. = useless and pointless

Sure it's his job to get more money. If a deal has been agreed upon that part of the job is over. If this is about more money then no agreement has been reached
