Gruden said his dream job was coaching the Dallas Cowboys as per someone on govolsxtra....LMAO. I don't think so.

His mom must have bought the advertisement time

True. Afternoon drive show should be replaced with a show hosted by any of the awesome Volnation insiders (maybe on a rotating basis), co-hosted by Big Will, with occasional sit-ins from local characters.

Would be infinitely better than Rucker and the Butt-chuggin bros dead zone from 3-7.

The thought of Grudes, the lord and savior, coaching the hated Dallas Cowboys is sickening. I just puked.

Upon further examination, the puke resembles an orange-hued Chucky face. IT'S A SIGN!!!!

This thread is beautiful. We have football forum guys, recruiting guys, around the NCAA guys all together hoping one lucky family will get that $5 million dollar check. Also praying that an unemployed coach could do what he loves again at Tennessee.

All unified. Makes me tear up.

This was posted on ESPN rumors...

Derek Dooley's firing at Tennessee seems so inevitable that we're already putting together a list of possible replacements. For now, though, the job is still Dooley's and he says he's going to keep doing it to the best of his ability

and

It's so important that we just maintain our focus on what's next and go 1-0, and that's what we're trying to do here."

That sounds nice, but the fact remains that Dooley has failed to go 1-0 eleven times in his last 12 SEC games. He should get some relief this weekend against Troy, but might need to sweep Missouri, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky (combined SEC record: 3-13) to keep his job.

Here is Dooley's record the past three years:
2010: 6-7 with a .461 win percentage
2011: 5-7 with a .417 win percentage
2012: 3-5 with a .375 win percentage so far.

Do we see a trend? We are getting worse with more experience players and keeping Dooley here longer. The attendance at the games are at an all time low and it's getting worse with ever game. This just shows we need a real coach with a big name like Gruden. This would bring more money in, better coaching staff and recruit better players. This doesn't take a rocket science to figure we are in big trouble if we continue with Dooley.
