I would say that if he is projected in the 1st, he will choose to go.
Hunter, I think, will go no matter where he is projected. He won't go far past the end of the first round anyways simply because the WR position is not that deep this year.
Yeah I know it is a little knee jerk... I would not want Fulmer as long term... but o well you got the idea
I believe Hunter's and Bray's stock has gone down this year. Bray with late turnovers and lack of clutch gene and Hunter has dropped a lot of balls although he did redeem himself against (Troy-blah). If Dooley stays I could see both leaving at risk of their stock falling further...If a coaching change is made, especially JG, Hunter could potentially get back in the early first round mix. JMO

Extension a possibility?
"I think Tennessee athletic director Dave Hart is not convinced that the wisest move for the program would be to fire Dooley after just three seasons. I'm sure Hart has been in contact with all the big money people at Tennessee as well as the chancellor and is waiting to see how this season plays out. I do believe that if the Vols lose one of their final four games that Hart will make a move. But it could go either way if they win out and finish 7-5. Much of it will depend on who the Vols think they can get and who's realistically interested in coming to Tennessee. A lot of variables will be at play. The other thing to consider is that if Hart does bring Dooley back, it doesn't make sense to bring him back as a lame-duck coach of sorts. Recruiting would be a nightmare. So you almost think that Hart would need to give Dooley some type of extension if he does indeed retain him. It will be an interesting November on Rocky Top."
I am not a Big John Adams fan but this quote was great.............
"The smartest thing Tennessee coach Derek Dooley could have done Saturday afternoon was fire defensive coordinator Sal Sunseri at halftime.
Then, he could have had the public-address announcer pass along the uplifting news to a half-filled Neyland Stadium.
If that sounds harsh, consider the greater good. A defense that Troy ravaged for 721 yards and 34 first downs is about to get everybody fired.
In fact, it's a wonder that at some point in UT's 55-48 victory over Troy, athletic director Dave Hart didn't seize the microphone from public-address announcer Bobby Denton and declare that the search for UT's next football coach had begun."
Weird things is that I had heard that Fulmer was being looked at as an interim coach at one point until the could find/sign the new coach, but CDD wasn't let go....
It was supposedly going to happen before Vandy at the very latest, but It didn't fit or match of the timeline up as that everyone had heard
I just chalked it up as incorrect after talking with others on this thread ...
