I saw something about Jon Gruden got a MNF contract extension? Is that true?

Do you remember the article from where you read it?
If it's the one I'm thinking of, that article is over a year old.

Yes it is... but it was last year... anyone who has a contract and is worth anything (unlike our coach) will have a contract extension.

It is no problem .... Gruden will be coaching somewhere next year...... I believe it is Tennessee, but i am 100% he will be coaching next year

I have been proud for so many years that we did not follow the trends, but we were the leader............. Now today we are the joke.....shame

The thing I like best bout possibility of Gruden is new trend, even the talk of assistants have an orange flavor... I just want us to go back to our roots of who we are

We have confused our Brand and watered it down with Saban, bama, Florida and whatever until we have lost Tennessee.... I know this is unpopular on this board... but I would hire Fulmer as Interm AD until we could find someone with a real Tennessee connection.....

Hire Gruden (who is connected to J major's) and start rebuilding the Tennessee brand

Why would Gruden want to wait so long to be announced the next head coach. December, January time frame? Is he not concerned at all about what that would do to the recruiting process?

Same thing if Dooley is kept. You know recruits are hearing and reading what is being said. Cant help next years recruiting class with all this uncertainty.

I bet the DD Show's ratings are awful..I haven't watched it since the NC St. game b/c there's been no reason to,IMO...Was hoping to watch it after a win over UF,UGA,Miss St.,or USCe but that didn't happen..I look forward to watching a lot in the Gruden era.:rock:

While I don't agree with Fulmer as AD, I definitely agree with the sentiment.

We need some UT blood in here.

To be honest though, I think that Hart wants to do that, and if he gets Gruden here (or at least doesn't stand in the way), then I will support him moving forward.

Just saw on ESPN where NFL voided contract of Sean Peyton...he will be free agent next year. He is so tight w Saints, but you have to wonder if ole' Jerry might throw some cash at him

I doubt Payton goes anywhere. He's very tight with Brees and the city, and Brees is locked in to the Saints for the next 9 more years.

Gruden is not the problem...........the problem is we have a coach..."Dooley",

The problem is HART not announcing a decision, once this is done and ball starts rolling... things will move fast
