I really like Strong. How do you feel about the fanbase reaction to such a hire (Petrino) after all the snafus we have made or do you think that as soon as we start winning all is forgiven?

I thought petrino would be gaining at a higher rate of approval so at this point I think the winning would have to come first for a bunch of you guys. Winning would be less of a worry for him than any candidate including Gruden IMO. So it would come in time.

As a side note I know for a fact there are big money boosters that want him so I think it's worth keeping an eye on him if gruden is out.

My concerns with Fulmer would be the fan base...would we unite or remain divided...so many wanted him gone...however, I would think a large percentage of those that wanted him gone feel differently after the stretch we have had without him.

I seriously can't believe people are mentioning Fulmer's name. The man who is largely responsible for where we are today and some people want to bring him back? I would rather dismantle the football program and cheer for Tn Tech before seeing Phil F'n Fulmer walk the sidelines again.

Overrated coach, dirtbag of a guy who will only bring long term problems and will run at the chance to make more money somewhere else. Ain't worth it. We made almost the exact same mistake with Kiffin, only it was a cheaper mistake. Let's not do it again.

FTR, if Gruden doesn't work out and we can't get Peterson or Patterson, I would like the Petrino hire IF he can recruit and hire a good DC. The guy knows how to win.
