I have a solution. Why don't all the Negagrudes start a new thread entitled "Gruden is Not Coming I" and post there? Those of us who still hold out hope for Gruden can post here. As a result, we won't have to deal with jackarses calling people
"stupid" or what-not. Deal?

I'm still confident as well. If you go back and look, I was told from a person I trust that Gruden will be here.

The powers-at-be need to put their egos aside and realize that as the football program goes, so does the University. If an agreement has been reached for years and money, the higher-ups need to get the F out of the way and let Gruden have complete control.

If they all agree they won't have anyone to argue with. The thread will die.

Sounds logical to me. We have to get to Gruden VI anyways and I would prefer it be with information relevant to the thread. Not some mud slinging.

I don't seem to remember it that way, but again I am old... memory fades. I am not going to search the thread myself for something I don't think is there.

Why is it so important to you to discredit these guys anyway.... this seems like some sort of power struggle.

Again... did we not just agree that the BOT outcome was our only chance at Gruden earlier? Also I do believe as far as most of these meetings go, decisions ARE concluded and votes known long before meeting time

Why do you come to a conclusion that he is wrong before the outcome is known..... that would be my only question.

You may be right, but again know one will know for sure until we know the outcome of the BOT meeting.

I have an even better idea: let's 'label' people as quickly as possible so we don't have to deal with their logic. That way it'll be easy to just call someone a nega-whatever and we'll be off the hook.

I dare say everyone in this thread holds out hope for Gruden. Some are just more restrained than others in the face of contrary information.

We're all Vol fans with the same goal in mind. Some seem to forget that.

Yes I agree the meeting matters but I never said it was a done deal.
