Posted it in WC thread but heard a rumor that Gary Anderson recently interviewed for the UT position. Disclosure was rumored to be direct from Anderson to a close friend. I was shocked no ecred was exchanged. Posted it in the wildcard thread but thought it would give some people a can to kick in here.

Maybe there are legit sources, maybe not. But it is just too easy for me to come on and say "Gruden will be the next HC at Tennessee, I have a deeply connected source with Boosters and the AD".

Then when it doesn't happen...the situation was fluid, negotiations fell through, Hart dropped the ball...any number of excuses can be said as an out. It's hard to tell who really has a source, who is just re-hasing what they have heard elsewhere because they like the attention, and who is flat making stuff up because they like the attention. Given that we are on version 6 of this thread, and we are ~60,000 posts in thus far, mostly by the same people over again, methinks we have a bunch of attention whores running around here that don't know a damn thing, or are intentionally being fed BS and passing it along.

Regardless, look for the standard excuses to come out of the Arky insiders by Thursday on why it didn't happen.

...and perhaps it was Karma the way Fulmer got fired because of how he came about the job to begin with???.....

I just can't let this go. What they did to Majors was much, much worse. The argument can be made that Fulmer was kept too long. Fulmer never did build this program, he just inherited what Majors had built and continued it. Not trying to discount Fulmer, just saying that Majors was the one who did the heaviest lifting and had the harder job and was stabbed in the back for it.

One might say that Fulmer's situation had Karma for Majors written all over it. Karma is a dumb idea anyway. Usually it is a new atheist who spouts it while simultaneously acknowledging this higher power they call Karma. Just dumb.
