Gotten enough info together to post what I put together, waiting on Gruden 7 so it doesn't get lost in transition, anyone who wants a copy before then just hit up my e-mail, lurtz109@yahoo.com
No doubt but his D appears solid, so that would be the 2.0 part since he's actually been a coordinator. I was more shocked to even hear he had interviewed. That it was even rumored he interviewed was kind of sad.

Maybe this dude just sent in an unsolicited resume and it was summarily scoffed at and filed in the dumpster?
Haha haha haha haha haha haha. Sorry I can't stop. What the hell would he want to go to Arky? Not really stocked with talent and what would attract anyone to go to Arky.SIAP and try not to laugh...
The Arkansas "Insiders" are saying regarding Gruden to Arky "Final details are being worked out. I was told, Pressor will be Tuesday or Wed."

This has been my realization since South Carolina. I get that the defense is bad and the offense is really good in terms of numbers. However, as good as the offense seems to be, one would think they would be able to overcome the defense at least once in an SEC game.
The problem is they haven't except against Troy, and they celebrated their success that game like it was the Super Bowl. Even when they seem to be their hottest, Bray screws something up, Hunter drops a pass, the great OL whiffs on a block, someone misses an extra point, or Chaney can't figure out what he wants to call. As good as the offense is, Chaney can't make up his mind about their identity. I'm still wondering where the package to put Patterson in the backfield was early in the season and why they haven't developed more off of it. It's so incredibly basic but it's so deadly too.
It seems as if they are just so unlucky, but really the whole team is just really poorly coached. Fulmer with Randy Sanders as OC would have won 8-10 games with the talent this team has.
And queue Duckman in 3...2...1...

Might as well practice his golf form... He may be better on the links.:lolabove:
You are right that the offense seems to fail to make a play at times to win a game. BUT, the offense is under a microscope because of how miserable the defense plays. EVERY team has miscues on both sides of the ball, but when the defense can hold a team to 20 points, then the offense doesn't have to make that one play to win the game. It is just a comedy though. We just don't know how to win. All the defense had to do was get off the field on a couple of 4th downs. I thought the spot overturn on the Franklin sneak was ridiculous because the refs were blowing the whistle as or before he stretched his arm. But, we are coached by Derek Dooley, and I knew it would go against us. But, geez, if Gordon and Coleman don't both go to the same WR, then I think we are talking about a victory.
Our offense is so good, and it is frustrating when they can't make a play to win the game. In fact, I thought Chaney should have spread out and run the ball on the 2 point conversion to win the game. They were expecting pass the whole way. But, you can't be perfect and until the defense can stop the other team at least half the time, our offense has to be perfect.
