This has been my realization since South Carolina. I get that the defense is bad and the offense is really good in terms of numbers. However, as good as the offense seems to be, one would think they would be able to overcome the defense at least once in an SEC game.

The problem is they haven't except against Troy, and they celebrated their success that game like it was the Super Bowl. Even when they seem to be their hottest, Bray screws something up, Hunter drops a pass, the great OL whiffs on a block, someone misses an extra point, or Chaney can't figure out what he wants to call. As good as the offense is, Chaney can't make up his mind about their identity. I'm still wondering where the package to put Patterson in the backfield was early in the season and why they haven't developed more off of it. It's so incredibly basic but it's so deadly too.

It seems as if they are just so unlucky, but really the whole team is just really poorly coached. Fulmer with Randy Sanders as OC would have won 8-10 games with the talent this team has.

Does anyone believe in karma...bc its obvious that when they fired Coach Phil Fulmer and how they fired him and the humiliation of it all...it all came crashing down and the football team and recruiting has never been the same!!! Yes karma indeed!!!

I don't laugh anymore than I do with the insiders around here.

Maybe there are legit sources, maybe not. But it is just too easy for me to come on and say "Gruden will be the next HC at Tennessee, I have a deeply connected source with Boosters and the AD".

Then when it doesn't happen...the situation was fluid, negotiations fell through, Hart dropped the ball...any number of excuses can be said as an out. It's hard to tell who really has a source, who is just re-hasing what they have heard elsewhere because they like the attention, and who is flat making stuff up because they like the attention. Given that we are on version 6 of this thread, and we are ~60,000 posts in thus far, mostly by the same people over again, methinks we have a bunch of attention whores running around here that don't know a damn thing, or are intentionally being fed BS and passing it along.

Regardless, look for the standard excuses to come out of the Arky insiders by Thursday on why it didn't happen.
