Sorry if already discussed, but how soon would the next coach be announced after Dooley is let go? If we already have our guy, would they do it the next day? The next week? The next month? It seems the might wait a little while to make it appear that they haven't had any discussions while Dooley was still here. I mean, it would seem humorous to see Hart make the announcement, Dooley walks out one door, and Gruden walks in another at the same press conference.

IMO the longer we wait without a coach the better it looks for Gruden because of his MNF schedule. MMF isn't over until the end of December

I think their are some administrative issues that can only be dealt with once the coach is fired. I have read during previous coaching searches that the position must be publicly listed to allow applications for the vacancy.

This I understand and agree with. But, my point is that Bray doesn't have to make that play at the end if the defense is better. We don't remember or care about the fumble at the end if we are up 44-31 as opposed to being down 51-44. The offense has to be perfect to win games. In the SEC, offenses will not be perfect.

We score alot, but it is to the point that if we turn it over or punt one time, then I think we will lose because our defense won't stop anyone. I knew how big Marlin Lane's fumble was in the 1st quarter because our offense HAS to score as much as it can.

It seems to me that Bray and the O often make the necessary drives. They are just called on to do it over and over. You can't get them all. The defense has to close the game.

I feel like if John gruden really wasn't interested he would have come out and said no but he is staying quiet like he really is thinking about it but I don't know I am just speculating.

Why, Gruden's just watching to see how high his stock can Go....wouldn't you?

An offense is going to be called upon to be successful in the 2-minute drill at least once in a while. Successful teams make the necessary plays. Bad teams go 0 out of 4.
