And because those people were wrong, you automatically assume the people here are wrong? That is messed up thinking. Just because a+b didn't equal c does not mean d+e=f is wrong also. I don't know you but it seems you are just one of those people who get off on trying to tell everyone else they are wrong and you are right.

Believe what? What did he say to get you and everyone else all fired up and believing that Gruden is coming? I'm not saying it's not going to happen. BTW- let me hand you back those words you put in my mouth. I actually think it's fairly plausible. At the same time, it's absurdity to take what you guys are using as fuel for your Gruden to Tennessee fire, when there are no facts and absolutely nothing of substance at all.

I have that feeling that you get when we go up by 21 on some team. There's a confidence, but at the same time there is a fear that we won't pull it off.

I listen to what he says for the same reason I listen to Mel Kiper. Mel Kiper doesn't have facts on who is going where but it's his job to figure out who is most likely to go where. It's La Canfora's job to figure out what coach is going where. I never said it was definitely happening but it's not like he just made it up and made a random guess publicly. Given his job and talking to other people, I'm sure he made his comment based on talking to other people about Gruden. It wouldn't make sense for him to make it up for no reason. If I was a sports writer and believed Chris Petersen would probably prefer moving up to a bigger school like Tennessee, I wouldn't make that comment public without actually hearing something. Otherwise you're just making random stuff up. What's the point of paying a sports writer to make stuff up and throw out random ideas? That's what free forums are for.

I just think it's funny when people jump in late, without having followed this and make all these anti-thread posts.

But it's also funny to watch them progress and eventually fall into the pit.
