If BruinVol were Tyler Bray's roommate, he'd be all like, "Now Tyler, I'm not sure you should throw those beer bottles, people might think you are irresponsible and you could really get us in trouble!"

They said from what I've been told Gruden could be our coach. That led to more ? and more of what I'm hearing type stuff. Then you can believe or not believe.
And most on here chose to believe. If Gruden does not come, I still believed and I am not out anything. It is a choice. But believing is far easier than the down trend that is happening on the sidelines right now.

If we didn't have My #1 pick in Gruden or a homerun hire already in the works or negotiating with why not wait to announce Doolites firing and keep all the press off the soon to be coach plus it's a little payback to by the media always asking about his future Dooley for driving UT football in the ground. This is where I believe we are

As apposed to not haveing the homerun hire in waiting or even a coach for that matter why would we be waiting until the end of the season to announce Dooleys departure if this is where were at? I dont think Hart and the Boosters are this dumb and allow us to get into a biding war with the other schools and allowing recruiting to suffer more than it already is now under Doolitle with a ongoing coaching search and hell just to appease the fans. This is like wiping your @ss before you $hit it just don't make since to me.

I don't take any pleasure in telling someone that they are wrong. But thanks for reading into all that. Seems like reading into things has become a habit for some people. If you read my comments for what they are and not what you want them to be, you will see that my issue is not with people who want Gruden to come, but those who say that he is coming without providing anything to prove that what they said is in fact true. It's all here say until it becomes public. Why is this so hard for some people? It's not rocket science

I understand. I have been skeptical and question a great deal of things in this thread but I am still here. I am here because I know this is possible and there are things daily that make me think that possibility is greater and greater. I still don't think it's happening but I am getting closer to 50/50

I have been reading this thread but remaining very skeptical.

Thought you all might like to know that today, I decided to go full Grutard.

Not because anything I read or heard has convinced me it's happening, but just because I want to.

Being grumpily realistic about our football team all the time is kind of boring. I've decided to just believe it will happen and take it in stride if it turns out to be false. But of course that won't happen, because Gruden is going to be our coach in 2013.

Go Vols! Beat Vandy! Hire Gruden!
