You are right about that. They will revel in the fact that he's not coming as if they were George Costanza ensoncing himself in velvet. Only instead of velvet, it will be the disappointment of other vol fans and the shame of insiders.

He's walking a fine line. He is either going overboard to cover something up (unlikely) or doesn't know, or is simply rubbing it in to an extreme (likely).

Either way its getting annoying as sh*t.

It's getting to that point with him. It's just weird-even if we aren't getting Gruden. To be the guy that said he was interested years ago, and now slam the door shut everyday-unprompted. Weird.

Been thinking the same thing since he said he isn't coming. I didn't start to believe because of him though it was nice to have him talk about it. But when he started saying he wasn't coming I didn't stop believe either. Then he started stating it like it's effing fact and that irritated me to no end.
