I recognize my opinion means little since it isn't my team or coach, but for the first time, I found out some information yesterday on the Florida side that makes me think you ARE going to get Jon Gruden.
If Gruden already has a house in TN...I'm pretty sure he can claim residency. With his current job, I'm pretty sure he can/could live anywhere he wants.
There has been a lot of positive info, so I'm not trying to be a downer...but I find the cost of living and state income tax arguments as fairly weak.
That part seems like a stretch.

Sorry because I in know this is an old post, and somebody has probably already clarified, but I wanted to just in case:
In Connecticut, where Gruden is employed, employers are required to collect state income tax on non-residents for work performed for a business based in Connecticut.
This is true for almost all states, so residence makes no difference. It is all about where you work. In fact, some states will levy income taxes on residents for work performed in another state, as well as the state where the work is performed.
