It can move faster now because Dooley is worse than even Gruden anticipated. I'm sure Gruden though surely this guy will win convincingly against Troy and Mizzu which will give me some time. Nope.

Thanks man. Gruden was sincerely and clearly writing off the NYJ this am on M&M. when asked about the NYJ, he responded with, I don't know. I'm not studying the Jets. They have lots of issues. They are 3-6. Man, they've gotta get things figured out.

I would love for Gruden to come here, but I felt certain that Peyton Manning was going to be a Titan. I don't want to be let down again.

Anyone else feel this way?

Interesting. Doesn't sound like you are a guy that has skin in the game, but I recall from the Shannon fiasco last winter that folks were on here saying Alabama was concerned about us getting Shannon.

This is all just so speculative. I'm convinced we're working the back channels on Gruden (no doubts there), but I'm also convinced this is far from a done deal.

I hope you guys are right, but I'm not a believer until ESPN, CBSSports or some other similar venue is reporting we have him.

So, if things could speed up a bit...what timeline are we talking for CDD firing and Gruden announcement? Best guess...

If nothing else based on all the information we have you should feel absolutely confident that we will be hiring a much better coach than DD.
