As I said earlier a MOU for a job that isn't legally open is worthless.

We don't know that, and I don't know the specifics of the state requirements. I am just telling you the legal effects of a MOU. I am pretty darn sure that the people involved know what they are doing. I have no idea if anything has been signed or not.

As I said earlier and many people missed, it really just indicates intent.

UT would like JG to be their football coach. JG has indicated he wants to be at UT based on the terms and guidelines the University has outlined.

Either party can have a change of heart, but the fact is BOTH have agreed on a framework for it to happen.

*That*, as some have said, is the significance here.

The other stuff is legal crap. Neither party wants to back out or they wouldn't have executed the agreement.

Since there is no job to sign a contract for one signed isn't legal.

Some guy in recruiting said he said that but never saw it posted here. Must be TOS.

All the names on the list are irrelevant. At least those under 1. In that way he could be right. If the list was Gruden, Patterson,Golden technically He would be near the top of the list. Hart is not going to let anything out within the AD yet. If he does it will be stuff like "Golden". JMO there not info. It's what I believe and iirc Larry's connected to the AD. I am sure he is solid with his info, just do not trust anything coming from the AD is solid. Hart is not slapping high fives around the office lol.

None of us have seen the MOU so how can any of us (regardless of legal expertise) pass judgement on it?
