I like Larry and is a great poster. But I was on VQ for 10 years, and I am pretty sure that he knew some on Fulmer's staff. Now I am sure that with that, he knows people in the AD. Just not sure how strong they were when Fulmer was there.

I'm being rational. The facts are the job is not open.

We have no idea what Hart is doing.

Peyton has agreed to give money to some "fund."

Multiple NFL reporters have said that " IF gruden was to go to college, TN would be a likely destination." Big IF there.

All the names on the list are irrelevant. At least those under 1. In that way he could be right. If the list was Gruden, Patterson,Golden technically He would be near the top of the list. Hart is not going to let anything out within the AD yet. If he does it will be stuff like "Golden". JMO there not info. It's what I believe and iirc Larry's connected to the AD. I am sure he is solid with his info, just do not trust anything coming from the AD is solid. Hart is not slapping high fives around the office lol.

I think your context is correct. This jives with Chris Low. I was just curious about where Larry was saying this. I've been waiting for him to pop up on Scout today or here, I have high regard for his info.

Do you know it hasn't changed? I remember back in the Fulmer days when what he said was gold. Not so much anymore from what I see. In fact it flies in the face of what everyone (the in the know folks) are saying.

I agree with this. If what is being reported is true- that Dooley has been told he is gone- then that is notice if termination. Pretty simple.

He knows more than just Fulmers staff. He stays in contact with Fulmer and you think Fulmer is unaware of this situation? What's to say he hasn't "donated" some funds to this coaching search?

Was just speaking with one of my main "sources". Yeah, yeah, I know.

Well, I confess to him that I joined the boards a month ago. After he made sure I wasn't dropping his name, he laughed a little bit and told me that he is close to one of you guys and told me your board name. Pretty funny that some of our info is coming from the same guy. That explains some of the same information floating out there. (side note- my guy is going to contact you soon to let you know who I am - we have met before. Pretty funny stuff).

To the rest of you, I know most of you don't know me, but to the ones that do, I will try to alleviate any concern you have.

We have got our man. When you hear radio personalities saying otherwise, don't be concerned (not sure what they are thinking, they are going to look silly). When you hear (false) rumors about JG being on campus, those simply aren't true either. However, don't let those false rumors take away from the fact that THIS THING IS GOING TO HAPPEN.

I know I don't know most of you, but the reason I joined here a whole back was to be a part of this process with some REAL vol fans. You guys are exactly that, and I would like to meet some of you. What do you say we plan a little party after all of this gets finalized? I am dead serious.

If you think I am some "troll" so be it. But if you want to drink some victory beers, on me, let's chat soon. I have enjoyed my interaction with most of you and I appreciate those who have interacted with me.

I just want you guys to know that we are in good hands. For once, the administration has stepped up. This is really unbelievable. If I sound like a giddy child, that's because that's what I feel like.

Look forward to the JG celebration party after this all gets announced. I don't know when that will be ( and most others don't either), but when it does I will check back on here. Also, looking forward to hearing from one of you soon. Until then, it's been real. The darkest days are over. It's always the darkest before the dawn.

Al Golden is getting beat in the ACC, what makes Hart think he will win in the SEC?

Golden is not who we should go after.

LWS lost contacts when Fulmer was let go. I'm not the only one that shares that opinion.

What probably happened was that Hart probably leaked that he was looking at Golden, and he may have even interviewed him. In fact, that twitter pic resembled him a little.

Larry probably heard that Golden had been contacted, and stated that. I don't know. I could see Golden be one that we interview because we "have to interview candidates."

Just throwing stuff out there. I don't see Golden being the choice. Miami is not a powerhouse, and not a hire that any of us would really be pleased with.

Hart has GOT to know, regardless of what he reads and sees, that he needs a home run. He needs to get a hire the people are pleased with.

Golden WILL NOT cut it.
