Many do not want to get spun up at the risk of crashing back down. Me, I've been all in for a while now. Been a roller coast ride and hope the speculation is ended sooner than later.

I'm worried about the Vandy game, especially being on the road but I just couldn't bring myself to pick them over us.

Here is where I have gone with my mindset.....I really hope guys like Boro, OV, Jay and more are correct. I just can't get hyped up anymore. I have been reading old stories where he almost took the ND job and a couple of times in the NFL and then left them at the alter. I want to believe but at this point it feels like Peyton to the Titans, Lovie on a plane, and shannon a done deal. I will still hope that he comes and is 100% by early Dec. however....call me a skeptic now.

I'm with ya and I'm never 100% on anything till its official but this season has been such a heartbreak, this thread and Gruden being our new HC is the only Vol related excitement I have right now.

Given the fact that this has played out exactly as Boro and others have said, I have no reason to doubt that the end result will be anything different.

I kind of agree with you, but I hope I am wrong. Rationally Vol Nation is just as bad for rumors as any other board. I am sorry but the insiders over there sound just like the insiders over here. Only real difference is Arkansas doesn't make any sense at all while Tennessee could make sense. Part of me think everyone one of them (here and there) is full of ****, but again somethings are good to be wrong about.

It is a lifestyle choice, bro. You can choose to go through this as a Negagrude or a Posigrude. I joined the Posigrudes back around thread number II and see no reason to change. Come he!! or high water, I am on the Gruden train until it either pulls into or leaves the station.

Played out how? Nothing has played out at all. We still sitting with the exact same coach and nothing from the AD. I could of predicted that.

Not Nega but I am easily wrapped up in this stuff and it has been driving me crazy. Don't wanna crash too hard.

Agree. Even if a MOU/MOA has been signed it doesn't bind Gruden to anything. He can easily walk away to the better deal in the NFL. We may be an instrument to achieving his real goal. I have No idea.
