fwiw: Jason Lacanfora said Gruden interested in Vols over NFL. It was on 106.7 The Fan (DC station) this morning. Anyone else in DC area hear the sports junkies this morn? Would like more detail.

You know the answer asking in this thread. I think it would be dumb to cut Jay Graham though. It's never bad to have someone with ties to the program if they are capable and Jay is both.

My Gruden % meter is creeping up. Was at 80% yesterday. Today I'm around 90%.

Let me also add that the 26th presser is more of a guess. That could be delayed till the start of the next year depending on our bowl situation and holiday scheduling.

To add to that as well when we fire Dooley, if we are eligible for a bowl, look for Chaney to be named interim head coach and will be leading the team during bowl practices.

I guess I made that confusing.

The 26th of November presser firing Dooley is not a guess. The December 17th date is not a guess. The date that is a guess is the December 26th presser to introduce Gruden.

That could come later depending on bowl situations and holidays.

If Dooley isn't fired until the 26th, but Gruden announces he's the new UT coach on the 17th...that doesn't add up. I thought they wanted to prevent it from looking like they already had something in place?

They are both being fed info from the AD IMO. If you keep up with their day to day comments there is some serious misdirection going on. You will also notice that there is a new excuse every week as to why Dooley is still our coach.
