Its really surprising when you first look at it. I was shocked that Vince Lombardi and John Madden were the only NFL coaches with win percentages greater than 70%

In today's NFL, a .700 winning percentage works out to around 11 wins (11.2 to be precise). 11 wins is a playoff spot virtually every year, division title in many.

In a 14 game schedule, it only drops down to about 10 wins (9.8 precisely).

It's a very tall feat, regardless of how many games are played. The odds are against you maintaining such a winning percentage the longer you stay in the game.

I realize that. But we are such a divided country that one half is going to get run over consistently by the other. I'm in favor of most decisions going to a more local or state level. It's more Democratic in my opinion.
