Great post! I usually just lurk..but whether JG comes or not, these threads have indeed been very enjoyable. Isn't it funny how the smallest things can help us thru tough times. Prayers for you and your family!

It's not news...Its crap that people are making up...Nobody here knows anything about Gruden and if he's coming or not...Some people just like being the center of attention and make stuff up to get people excited is all...I want Gruden here too but some of these people make up the stupidest stories and not one of them provide any proof to it....Doc won't prove it...He has none but he wants to excite the fanbase and himself I guess....No pictures or autographs or anything....Also what makes me laugh is when people say they just talked to him YET the state they are in isn't the same state he is in :eek:lol: I love you people!

sorry for your loss Losing someone close I have but not my parents I can't imagine. Prayers sent keep your head up we will all be together again up yonder one day!!!

If JG happens, do we not owe Manning, Haslem, Anderson, Thornton and others some love? I would argue they are the ones who saved UT football, but i understand your a tiny bit prejudiced towards JG :p

There is an element of band wagon rumors and overnight insiders too. I'm not naming names. Certainly not insinuating the stalwarts of this thread are but there is an aspect of it. Just go back to any instance where DD was rumored to be fired.

I REALLY REALLY hope that Chaney isn't retained. I have no clue how anyone would want him back after seeing his playcalling, he's not a good recruiter either. I'm not buying that he's coming back. Graham is a keep, I wouldn't mind if we kept Pittman, but I think we could still upgrade, his recruiting hasn't been lights out either, but maybe with a winning program he could reel in some good recruits.

- I think that he is a very good coordinator and although he seemed averse to the run game last year, our offense has really come along this year, especially the run game

- He is innovative

- He has stuck with the kids through a whole lot of crap

- Under Gruden, he wouldn't have to coach QB and most importantly, he would not be calling plays
