I am actually starting to wonder if maybe LandscapingVol is maybe someone in the know who has been sent here to give volnation a smokescreen. Since this seems to be the place with all the Grudenites. We know who to believe though.

I assure you the Grudenites can be found far and wide. That's a good thing.

... a few coaches on the current staff will be retained.

We all assume that Graham and probably Pittman will be kept on. I know people will say I am crazy, but I would actually like to see Chaney kept on as well, and here is why:

- I think that he is a very good coordinator and although he seemed averse to the run game last year, our offense has really come along this year, especially the run game

- He is innovative

- He has stuck with the kids through a whole lot of crap

- Under Gruden, he wouldn't have to coach QB and most importantly, he would not be calling plays

Once again. Never have I came here claiming to have a source and I will never tell where I got this info but its Gruden. Dooley will be fired following the Vanderbilt game should we lose or after Kentucky should we win the Vandy game. Gruden has been on board for a few weeks now and all the Heart not wanting to fire Dooley was and is just a smoke screen.

Update: Gruden has the core of his staff ready to hit the ground running when the word is given on Dooley and a few coaches on the current staff will be retained.

Awesome..

I'm conservative with my optimism at 80% but it will go up.

he had a conversation with a friend today...
I heard the conversation ......won't say how.
believe it if you want or don't but I swear it happened..

said UT HAD contacted him and he was not talking to ANYONE about it.....
he did not know anyone could hear.....he doesn't know me....
I will not reveal my source.....

in other words.... he isnt sharing with anyone what he is or is not going to do....I had huge doubts until today....
:peace2::salute:
Sooooo no proof or pictures or anything ehh?...Amazing in this world of technology that with all the cell phone cameras and such that nobody THINKS to snap a photo...YET most reliable sources would jump all over it to PROVE that they indeed met the man and get everyone here at VN excited and yet here we are without a photo and just another guy swearing to the heavens he met Gruden and heard him swear his love for everything UT....Tell us all, Did you see bigfoot too?...Get his photo or autograph? :whistling:

I just got a Boner! :)

Some you have heard already expect JG to stay on at running back coach and possibility of coach Chaney staying on as well. Most of if not all of the defensive stall will be gone. I will try and get some staff specifics. On the offensive side of the ball Chaney is the domino that would have to fall to to loose the core of that group(Chaney, Pittman, Graham) all other coaches would more than likely be replaced

I haven't heard any say it on here but I would kind like Mckeefery to stay.

I agree. I see no reason to throw the baby out with the bathwater at this point.

Of course, ultimately they may all be replaced, but having a little stability cannot hurt next year.

Tracking the news on this is so fun! Thanks to all the insiders for taking the time to provide input.

My mother died in June from cancer. I was really dreading this time of year, and it's still tough, but hanging out in here (mostly reading) with you guys cracks me up and fills me with excitement for this hire.

You guys rock! :clapping:

I do have a sincere question for the original story breakers.

Is any of your info new? Or is it all just following some original plan which is now a leap of faith to still be on course? From my readings of your postings it seems mostly to be the later but that's an unfair assumption.
