Me and my wife are takin our boy. He's 6 so he won't be a prob. His friend is 6 also , was gonna take him too cause his parents are wierd and don't take him to do stuff like this. Thought maybe I could make a vol fan out of him

I said before and at the beginning of the season this team had enough talent to BACK INTO 7 wins, so long as we had a decent coach. I was that reasonable person....but I still refuse to kneel at the alter of VU and/or James Franklin.

That's nice of you guys. It makes a real difference with kids.

This would be a good game for it. Vandy games are easy to manage from a logistics perspective. The stadium is small and parking is never an issue. Everything is easily walk able, even with kids.

Don't get me wrong man. I think we will win easily. I cannot fathom losing to Vanderbilt, and I think that the kids will be playing for blood today.

But while I'm confident, I am also preparing myself emotionally for the coaching staff to somehow muck this up. I hate always having to rationalize losses in my head before they even happen. Thanks a bunch Dooley.

Flying solo with 2 kids though is pretty brave. You know your limits though.

If things get tough, you can always bail and take them to the adventure science center.

When I was driving home from work yesterday evening, I was listening to 104.5 the zone and they were saying that tickets were still available. Earlier in the week they said UT returned a lot of tickets. Call 322-4653, Vandy's ticket office.

Yea I wish I lived closer to Knoxville so I could go to more games. But I'll prob be taking him to some grizzlies games this season. I feel bad for my sons friend. Doesn't know anything about sports. So looks like I'll be taking him under my wing.
