DeerPark, LArry, and as I posted yesterday some high level donors are now starting feel that golden is a real possibility. I have a feeling we shouldn't be so quick to discount their info

If Jon Gruden is their first choice, I just can't fathom Golden being #2.

All I know is the ones who brought the Gruden info since the start have said it is done. Jake posted he got a confirmation that it is done. There has also been reports of names being thrown out to keep up appearances. That seems what this is. Hart has to know that Golden is not a splash hire. Also, while these insiders from TOS keep putting out names they don't do it here. And what have they been right on in the past that makes them so credible? No one could have predicted Dooley.

The thing I don't understand is if its not Gruden why settle for someone who has done nothing? If the money is there for Gruden it should be there for someone of that stature.

No doubt. If Gruden doesn't want at $5mill and you dont want to pay that for anyone else. Gauge Chris Peterson, Todd Haley, Pete Carrolls or whoever for like $3-5 mill.

Gary Patterson, Roman, Strong, Del Rio, Raheem Morris, Butch Davis, Kirby Smart, Petrino, Jimbo Fisher, Steve who coaches the Hendersonville Titans, Cutcliff, Freeze, and Beech High Schools coach would be higher on my list than Golden.

I am sure this won't make you feel any better but the big money booster I talked to was very excited about Golden. If there is big money backing you can bet he gets some serious consideration if gruden doesn't happen
