No doubt. Im proud to be one of only 2 schools to have never won less than 5 games. If we lose tonight with players who have the propensity to quit. Then Kentucky could officially send Dooley with another bad milestone a coach at Tennessee has never done.

He has certainly set some milestones, but winless on a year in the SEC would be the nut low.

You already have to go back to 1903-1906 to find comparable performances, and he will be the first coach in UT history to coach 3 yrs or more and finish with an overall losing record.

I have a feeling this place will get crazy after Franklin out coaches us tonight and we lose to vandy .... I hope we win for our players sake tonight! Go VOLS!!!

No matter the coaching situation, the players have been through an incredible amount of turmoil in the past couple of years. Turmoil that they did not sign up for.

They deserve our respect, appreciation, and support. Vandy going down.

Go Vols.

DeerPark12 wrote:Hard to say. He bui;t up Temple, but did it by evaluating marginal players and coaching them up because you're just not getting 4* guys at Temple.

Now he's at Miami, which I could recruit to.

But right now, how a candidate coaches on the field is a lot more important for the hire than how good of a recruiter they are. Even with the "big three" gone, there enough talent on this team that coaching them up next season to 8-4 or 9-3 helps our recruiting much more than a good recruiter that goes 6-6 again.

If they lose to ky this year, DD and crew should be arrested for crimes against football.

This makes Al Golden sound like another Dooley. This program needs a name that can recruit 4 and 5 star talent to UT.

Im not arguing that. But is anything negative out of question going in off another loss tonight if it were to happen? Especially if they trot Dooley out 1 more time after said loss?

DeerPark, LArry, and as I posted yesterday some high level donors are now starting feel that golden is a real possibility. I have a feeling we shouldn't be so quick to discount their info

Your avi is horribly distracting...I woul ask you to change it but Im sure theres not one better...that and they all may lynch me...

To me Miami has gotten worse under Golden. The only thing I like about him is that he is old school, wearing a tie on game day.

This why I posted it. I may not like the info, but it's info and it's as credible as pro-gruden info ATP. I'm not making a judgement, just providing info.

Just bringing the news.:p

I don't get the infatuation with golden. Has done nothing at Miami. No joke here, I would rather have........

Fulmer
Cutcliff
Randy Shannon

These coaches aren't being considered but I would take them over Golden.
