I am not sure on the evaluation of talent. I am here in Columbia and know that Grahm played key role in getting both Lattimore and Clowney to the Gamecocks.

Clowney came because of the 30 year old he hooked up with down in the Vista for 3 days. He's been tackling her ever since.

The main reason that Gruden would come to college instead of NFL is because you can dominate in college. You cant do that in the NFL its simple.

Fixed by large penalties first three years in contract then UT can afford to hire an up and comer. He hasn't bailed on espn for pro jobs yet. Why are you worried?

Our program needs stability as much as anything. I just don't see Gruden wanting to be a college coach, and all that entails. There are 32 NFL teams, and a thousand college programs. Even if you discount all the underperformers, just how many Alabamas do you think there are out there? It is gonna take UT a long long time to get back to prominence. He's gonna have to go on the road recruiting.. and I mean RIGHT NOW!... In the pros.. not a problem to recruit. He has to deal with egos there, true, but I would be really really surprised to see him walk away from the pro gig for a third tier college program, and that is what we are right now. Sorry.. JMHO.

hmm..Some of that sounds familiar... Where did I hear that about a month ago (Vandy week).... Who was it that said that...:whistling:

Seriously though I honestly do not believe it would have mattered if we would have lost or won the Vandy game.. He was gone either way...:hi:

Let me ask 2 questions real quick though....open for everyone to answer,,

1. Does anyone remember the interview that PF did talking about he remembered coaching with JG about a month ago?

2. Does anyone think the timing of celebration before the Bama game was a little odd? Especially with the folks that were in the stands and were accidentally caught on Camera?

Just asking the questions...:hi:

1. Was this the interview with Ainge? If so I don't remember anything earth shattering.

2. Yes. Seems more of a homecoming game or even home opener kind of thing.

We hired Dooley for stability. We need WINS more than anything. You're insane if you think recruiting will be a problem for Gruden and the staff he can assemble.

Name a true 3rd tier school that would be willing to pay a HC and staff $9,000,000 per year?
