Gruden would most likely choose Tennessee over Arkansas. However, he would most likely choose a NFL team over Tennessee. Sitting in a booth making 5 million at ESPN isn't a bad deal either. We have a 20% chance.

Everything remotely reliable I have heard suggests that he makes considerably less than 5million a year sitting in a booth

You honestly think he hasn't had plenty of NFL offers to this point? Do you think he could get the control coaching in the NFL he could get in college? There's a reason Hart addressed certain topics in his press conf yesterday.

That's my point. I may end up being wrong but I don't feel there is any real interest in Arkansas from Gruden.

Me either nor have I heard of anything real interest or suggestions of Arky being a serious threat. They may have all the $ in the world to throw at him but if he and his wife aren't interested there's not much more to say.

I've asked about him twice in the past 5 days or so and never hear anything.

Feels like forever since I've seen him comment.

It very well may happen that way....and it won't matter. The recruiting floodgates will open no matter when it happens.

I believe we'll get an announcement before then, but he may not start until after MNF.

I agree recruiting will go to another level when Gruden is hired and the allstar staff he hires. Cant wait to see the recruits names that pop up when its announced.

And Gruden might not want to come back to Tennessee. He'll probably want to cover the bill for his in-laws to fly to him for family get togethers.
