And while I was out, the Little Debbie section in the grocery was raided..Got me some Cloud Cakes and Cheese Danishes...Already had some chocolate honey buns in the pantry.:)

Yes, Jay Gregory and his wife Tammi...along with their son, Wyatt. That's one of the shows i work for. I was curious, because I saw your deer references a couple of times and thought I might reach out to you since we have a common interest.

Nice! I am texting a friend of mine about filming a hunt right now in middle TN.

I love to hunt deer. My father-in-law has 98 acres here in bama. My wife and I have tree stands in several locations and hunt when ever we can. Saturday was our opening of gun season and even sick I went. Had my cough silencer with me. Only saw a doe and a fawn. didn't go today because I'm trying to get better. I'm off all week so I have some extra time this week.

Finebaum about to have Tim Brando on. Among other things, Gruden will be discussed.

I can already tell you how that will go. Both will totally poo-poo any thought of Gruden coming to Tennessee and proceed to use it as a platform to tear down the position. For them we'd be lucky if we got anyone to come coach.

Just curious but who other than vol fans could have this many gruden threads with this many amount of posts?

I'm proud of this fanbase!

It is not the same. Gruden's in laws are fixtures in East TN. Sure Peyton has a lot of ties to TN but he was looking for the right fit and is originally from LA.

It is UT or NFL for Gruden. Plain and simple.

I remember when the Peyton Manning sweepstakes was occurring, the boards erupted not dissimilar to this situation. obviously not in magnitude, but swaying opinions on the decisions for sure.

I am very well connected with the Broncos through Coors Brewing Co...a la my bar. When all that hoopla was going down, my friends at Coors were saying Pat Bowlen had Peyton locked down, not in his decision, but in his approach financially, professionally, the John Elway factor, the intact team talent and experience, etc...and he was quoted as saying, " we are not going to let anyone get Peyton from the Broncos. We are prepared with what ever it takes. John wants him here and so do I." (A quoted paraphrase)

And I believe that we have a similar situation in Knoxville. They hav their eyes set on their target. They believe he is the man that can pull off our rise from the ashes. And they aren't going to let him go. I truly believe that!!!
