That is correct .. but he was asked what he was refering to with that and it was not the announcement of a new coach. Sorry i can't remember what he said it was

I really, really want to believe the Gruden deal will be worked out and he will be our next coach. However, it's getting more tough with each day that goes by. My optimism will not waiver until it is publicly made known that Gruden is not in play.

Some say it's a done deal, some say be patient it will happen, some say no way and some say there is a very slim chance. I say we HAVE TO HIRE Gruden. He is the only candidate out there that will generate the excitement among fans and recruits that can move our program in the right direction.

C'mon Hart, get this done!

Hubbs is the biggest bulls*** artist. He even sucks at recruiting news. By the time he announces a new commit, the whole world already knew.... he has a lot of nut-hangers though... VQ is a funny site.

There is a lot of talk around here about Bell. He has five stars on Scout, and IS a huge Vol fan, and I know for fact they were late to the party in showing the interest that Alabama, Ohio State and other top schools showed. He is leaning toward Bama, and why wouldn't he?? Saban thinks he hangs the moon, but Derek Dooley barely gives him the time of day. GAG.

If he goes to Bama...that will be 2 kids in the last 2 or 3 years to go there. Rossville, GA to Bama....as a UT fan...that upsets me to the max. Vonn has stated in the paper here that he is a VOLS fan. That is not code...that is a kid saying...I want to be a VOL. Shame on the staff. I'm not sure who the coach with Chattanooga responsibility is??? I know for a fact that Lance Thompson has seen him play in person at least twice. Unreal. My worry is that when Auburn falls....you let a couple of those jobs fill up....this UT fanbase will become more manic than it already is. Will not be good. I can accept the daily rollercoaster ride....it's part of it....but I just don't think Hart can let the fanbase dangle. He knows what the expectation is and he stated as much in his presser.
