Tried to ignore it the best I can but would be lying if I said it doesn't get to me some Coasty.
Morning y'all. Great day to be a Tennessee Vol.
(*DISCLAIMER* I am not an insider. My statement "Great day to be a Tennessee Vol" is not code for "Gruden is coming" or "Deal is done". I am just a regular guy who loves the Vols. I'm GWN, and I approved this message.)
I guess right now I am still holding strong, Hubbs is the hardest thing for me.... but he just said on Sports Source IF Gruden does not become the head coach.
I thought last night he was saying they stoped talking to Gruden?????
Right now it would help me most to hear from OldVol, Jay, Gman,DTO, Lex and those guys are saying...I know Bcarter is here and saying 99% but I want to see what here from the faithful
I supported Dooley thru the 1st half of the Akron game and then I was done..Shortly thereafter is when I found out that he wasn't the classy guy that he was being portrayed to be..Very disappointing to say the least...The more I heard the more disappointment came over me.:ermm:
I know for a fact that what Coach Price says about UT up here on the mtn is indeed correct. UT has been invisible. We had a walkon up there last year in Knoxville and was asked after he got hurt to look elsewhere. Also know for a fact that they have been more than absent with the Bell kid at Ridgeland. When you have that kind of talent within 2 hours of campus...I would think that it becomes a priority. Ridgeland has sent 3 or 4 kids to SEC schools. Hoping that a new staff will make it a priority to lock up the kids that are SEC caliber...especially the ones that are within shouting distance. :good!:
But he is a good guy and advanced the program and left it better..........
Give me a ****ing break.
No need to pile on, but certainly no level of gratitude is required there.[/QUOTE He is not a good guy.I heard something he did to a staff employee of 40 yrs at UT.If I would have been there I would have knocked his teeth down his throat for.He treated employees very bad.Had no respect for them at all.
He will leak some BS story to Hubbs about Gruden's demands being unprecedented and that they illustrated that he did not understand the complexities of NCAA compliance. The sheep will lap it up and everyone will rally around Kirby Smart (Hart's Plan A from the beginning).
So doc_vol and OV seem to be convinced Monday (tomorrow) will be a good day for us, as far as Gruden goes. I am not doubting, but unless Gruden does not do MNF tomorrow which he is I do not see them announcing until Tuesday. ESPN will not want the distraction coming out until after the game...IMO. /unless of course he announces on air which I think there is a rule against...
