My hubby had a friend that had a cat and it lived that long..The good thing about Kenzie is that she is an indoors cat and has been her whole life..She is healthy as far as we know.

Freak should get the servers ready. No matter what happens the servers will shut down when the new coach is announced. It's either gonna be excitement or the biggest meltdown in VN history

It really looks like Hart is executing Dean Smith's old four corners offense -- delay, delay, delay. If it is for Gruden, the question is "for what?" If it is going to be Gruden or even anybody else, you would think that they would want them in place to recruit.

The only other explanation is that he plans to hire a coach whose team plays this weekend.

I don't care if Hart hires Gruden at the end of this process.. Interviewing people when you have Gruden is not stupid its Dooley stupid.. If he's got him pull the trigger and lets be on our way to a top 5 class and quit screwing around and give JG a chance to change his mind or whatever else might happen

Yeah that will be weird what will Hart do tap coaches on the shoulder during the mixer and bring them into a room? Then when he is done go out and tap a different one? This whole thing stinks. I dont buy for a minute Hart is going to NYC for anything other than to see Cats.

While I hope he has his guy (because that would likely be Gru IMO), we can't dismiss the possibility out of hand that he is not interviewing this week because most or some of his targets have a game to coach this weekend. That is exactly what DP says. Now that does suggest that he may not have done much meaningful laying of the groundwork for a replacement while DD was on a clear path out the door the last few weeks, which would be hard to understand, but it's also pretty much what he claimed at his presser (he had done no back-channeling, etc.). God help us if he was being truthful and the search really hadn't gotten off the ground at that point.

If Gruden were the choice and he had "agreed" to take the job the fact that it hasn't been announced and that we are in fact interviewing other coaches should let everyone know the truth on JG and UT.

I hate to admit it but I agree. As much as I believe this is Gruden, everybody knows our track record is lousy.

All signs point to a Gruden hire (including several fine insiders here at VN). I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this time -- this one stinking time -- they get it right.

I can't describe how drunk I'm gonna get if they pull the trigger on Gruden.

I think he was saying that Gruden was contracted to do color for a bowl game and if he was coach of UT...he couldn't do that...so he would have to get out of that agreement....his post are so hard to follow though...and not worth reading IMO (but i read everything to my detriment lol)

Exactly. I would maybe listen to that show even with Hyams, but the callers are learning impaired. The hosts could spend 2hrs explaining why they think UT lost, then a caller would call up and say, "Uhhh Jimmy...uuhhh why you think we lost dat one jimmy uhhhhh...burp."
